Elevate your kitchen with the Miele DA 6698 W Puristic Edition 6000 36" Wall Ventilation Hood, a premium wall-mounted range hood combining powerful ventilation, sophisticated design, and intelligent technology. Available in Stainless Steel and Obsidian Black, this elegant ventilation hood coordinates beautifully with Miele kitchen appliances while delivering exceptional everyday performance.
Equipped with a high-performance dual-action blower delivering up to 489 CFM in Booster mode, the DA 6698 W effectively removes cooking fumes, airborne grease, and unwanted odors. Three standard ventilation levels and an additional Booster setting provide flexible extraction performance, while Miele's Silence acoustic package helps reduce operating noise for a quieter, more comfortable cooking environment.
Miele's innovative Con@ctivity technology enables the ventilation hood to communicate with compatible Miele cooktops, automatically adjusting ventilation performance based on cooking activity. Intuitive touch-on-glass controls provide convenient manual operation, while integrated Miele@home connectivity supports compatible smart-home features, smartphone notifications, and software updates.
Designed for effective grease removal, the DA 6698 W features three dishwasher-safe, 10-ply stainless steel grease filters that efficiently capture airborne grease particles while allowing convenient maintenance. Miele's CleanCover interior features smooth, enclosed surfaces that simplify cleaning while helping protect against contact with internal electrical and motor components.
Three energy-efficient 3W LED lights provide bright, uniform illumination across the cooking surface, delivering 670 lux with a 3500K color temperature. The convenient dimming function allows you to adjust the lighting to suit food preparation or create ambient kitchen illumination.
Additional conveniences include a 5- or 15-minute automatic delayed shutdown to help clear lingering cooking odors, grease and charcoal filter saturation indicators, automatic safety shut-off, and a telescopic chimney for installation flexibility.
The DA 6698 W supports ducted exterior ventilation or optional recirculation using the separately purchased Miele DUW 20 conversion kit and compatible DKF 12-P charcoal filter, making it adaptable to different kitchen layouts and ventilation requirements.
